I am a motion Designer

My name is Godwin, Victor Daberechukwu Onah, AKA Chester. Chester wasn’t really my birth name but I was called that when I was in Primary school because I was good at football. I loved the name and decided to incorporate it as part of me.

I studied Medical Microbiology at a private University In Enugu state Nigeria. I Loved the course but I figured that wasn’t my calling. I loved creating animations, cartoons and doing graphic designs with Photoshop. 

Over the years I started to use photoshop for image manipulation. Did that for 3 years while I was nearing the end of my Degree program. I learnt about Adobe After Effects which changed everything. It wasn’t quite long before I started creating personal project. I loved the feeling that I could sit for hours without eating and just creating animations. I learnt about freelancing sites like Upwork and fiverr. I registered and started freelancing. I was able to gain lots of experiences working remotely with people of different races, nationality and Timezone.

I also Have Courses and host classes twice in a year for people looking to learn Motion design, Video editing and animation which most of these classes are real-time classes via zoom. This has helped me learn how to be a Manager, tutoring different classes of people. I have learnt time management and communication management.

I also have Apprentices who did exceptionally well during the courses, I retain them and work with them, eg, if i am hired by an Agency etc.
